Candle care and safety
  1. If possible, burn candle up to 3 hours to begin with to achieve even melting of the candle wax Never burn longer than 3 hours.
  2. Do not use with shades. The heat level inside may increase beyond acceptable points.
  3. Do not use with candle warmers. The amount of heat that can gather at the base while using a warmer can cause the glass to break.
  4. Gently blow out to extinquish. Do not place lid on a burning jar. It will cause the jar to break. Allow candle to cool before replacing lid.
  5. Always burn votives in proper holders. Do not burn them freestanding as they will create pools of wax and their burn time will be very quick. Burn on a protected heat resistant surface. Liquid pool should be 1/4".
  6. Always keep wicks trimmed to 1/4".
  7. Flame size should never be over 1/2" for any long length of time.
