Candle care and safety
- If possible, burn candle up to 3 hours to begin with to achieve even melting of the candle wax Never burn longer than 3 hours.
- Do not use with shades. The heat level inside may increase beyond acceptable points.
- Do not use with candle warmers. The amount of heat that can gather at the base while using a warmer can cause the glass to break.
- Gently blow out to extinquish. Do not place lid on a burning jar. It will cause the jar to break. Allow candle to cool before replacing lid.
- Always burn votives in proper holders. Do not burn them freestanding as they will create pools of wax and their burn time will be very quick.
Burn on a protected heat resistant surface. Liquid pool should be 1/4".
- Always keep wicks trimmed to 1/4".
- Flame size should never be over 1/2" for any long length of time.
